Bamboo as a biogenic construction materialThe current materials used in construction (concrete, steel) make up 30% of the world’s CO2 impact. Using biogenic materials like bamboo wood, straw and timber lowers the carbon impact of the construction by over 20%. This urban pavilion is a proposal for future methods of construction and intentional design of urban spaces.
